Learning music at Picayune Music has numerous benefits, including improved cognitive function, enhanced creativity, stress relief, and increased self-confidence.

Each music lesson at Picayune Music is typically 30 minutes, depending on the student's age, skill level, and musical goals. we do offer a 45min for students over 12yrs of age and if the teacher see's fit to their growth. 

We offer a flat rate of $37 per 30-minute private lesson across all instruments. This typically comes out to around $148 per month for weekly lessons, or $74 per month for lessons every other week.

We offer private lessons in piano, guitar, drums, vocals, acting.

We teach from beginner to advance. We try our best to put you with a teacher who is going to suit your needs and requirements of the style, learning environment goals. 

No as we previously stated all our private 30min lessons are $37 per 30min private lesson. We have a yearly $50 registration fee and that goes towards purchasing the students books, mp3's, recital pieces etc.

Yes! We provide several performance opportunities throughout the year. We host two fun and engaging music recitals (definitely not the boring kind!) and are often invited by local businesses to participate in open mic nights, community events, and street fairs.

We start our private lessons from ages 6yrs + we do offer some other programs seasonal for younger kids

We are appointment only. So if our teachers are at the studio they are teaching for the day. If you'd like more information you can reach out to us via email picayunemusic@gmail.com

We are open by appointment only. Our main hours are 3pm - 7pm, but some of our teachers do teach in the morning and have flexible working schedule

Yes! We regularly work with adults who have unique or rotating schedules, including offshore workers and nurses. While most of our lessons are scheduled weekly, we’re happy to accommodate flexible or alternate arrangements whenever possible. Just reach out and we’ll find something that works for you.

Our studio operates by appointment only, as we’re a small, locally run business and many of our teachers also work in other roles throughout the day. If you stopped by and we weren’t in, feel free to send us an email, we’d love to connect and will get back to you as soon as possible!

Although we don’t offer complimentary lessons, our students receive exceptional training tailored to their goals, along with included materials and access to performance opportunities.
